By creating an account or using AuroraDocs (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. The Terms form a binding agreement between you and Henrik Øgård ("we", "us"). If you do not accept the Terms, you may not use the Service.
You agree not to:
If you believe content or behavior violates these Terms, or if you need to report abuse, phishing, malware, harassment, copyright, or other urgent safety issues, email contact@auroradocs.eu. We may remove content, revoke public links, or suspend access when necessary to protect users or comply with law.
You retain ownership of content you create in AuroraDocs. You grant us a limited, royalty-free licence to store, process, and back up your content solely to provide the Service.
We will not read or analyse your content for any purpose other than debugging and security — and only where strictly necessary.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, upgrades, and temporary downtime with reasonable advance notice where possible.
We may discontinue the Service with a minimum of 90 days' notice. In the event of discontinuation we will give you the opportunity to export all your data.
AuroraDocs is currently free during the alpha period. If we introduce paid plans, existing users will be given at least 30 days' notice.
The first paid release is for business customers only. Consumer plans are not part of this launch, and any future consumer offering would publish the required consumer-law and withdrawal text before it goes live.
When paid plans launch, subscriptions will renew on the cadence shown in the plan offer or invoice unless canceled first. You can cancel through the billing portal or by contacting us, and access continues until the end of the current billing period unless the plan says otherwise. If payment fails or a plan is downgraded, the billing lifecycle contract explains the current past-due, over-quota, and suspension behavior. Refunds are available only where required by law or explicitly agreed in writing. AuroraDocs issues the invoice and remains the merchant of record for the first paid launch; Stripe processes payment on our behalf. Taxes, VAT, MVA, and invoice details will be handled according to applicable law.
Business customers can request the current subprocessor register and a DPA by emailing contact@auroradocs.eu.
Paid support is provided on a best-effort basis through the same contact channels unless we agree a different response time or support scope in writing.
You may delete your account at any time under Settings → Profile. Upon deletion, all personal data will be removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with immediate effect for serious violations.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect losses, data loss, or service interruptions arising from use of the Service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. We may also ask you to review and renew acceptance from your AuroraDocs account settings when the active terms version changes.
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall first be sought resolved amicably, and otherwise before Stavanger District Court as the agreed venue.
Questions about these Terms may be directed to: contact@auroradocs.eu
